Visiting over Shabbat?

We are always delighted to welcome Jewish visitors to services at The Great Synagogue. If you are here on a Shabbat morning, please make yourself known to the Shammas if you are a male; if there is a place in our call-up schedule we would be delighted to offer you an aliya. For security purposes, it is recommended to contact the office of the The Great Synagogue before Shabbat to provide a copy of your photo ID, then we can make your names known to security and welcome you properly.

Should you wish to make a donation in honour of your visit, you are welcome to call the synagogue on +612 9267 2477 after Shabbat or email our office at
