Our hearts are heavy with concern for the ongoing situation in Israel. We want to acknowledge the impact this crisis has on our community and extend our thoughts and prayers to the people of Israel, our family, friends, and the broader community affected by these challenging events.

We understand that these events may evoke a range of emotions and responses. A number of organisations stand ready to assist:

JewishCare and JewishHouse are here to support our community during this trying time. They have established a team of professional staff and counselors who are available to discuss your concerns. Please reach out if you are feeling distressed or anxious about the events in Israel:

JewishCare: Call 1300 133 660 from 9 am to 5 pm.
JewishHouse: Call 1300 544 357 outside of JewishCare's business hours.

Additionally, several mental health support resources are available, including:

Headspace: Provides online counseling and telephone support for young people aged 12 to 25. Call 1800 650 890.
Kids Helpline: A 24-hour telephone and online counseling service for young people aged 5 to 25. Call 1800 55 1800.
Mental Health Line: A 24-hour mental health telephone access service for adults and children. Call 1800 011 511.
Lifeline: A 24-hour telephone counseling service. Call 13 11 14 or visit www.lifeline.org.au for online information and referral services.
